Republic Day January 26,2020
On January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect and India became a republic. To celebrate this day, Republic Day is celebrated. From British rule India got independence on August 15, 1947. The country was divided into two separate countries, namely India and Pakistan. After independence, we had no constitution, so we were part of the British Commonwealth, that is, we were a British Dominion.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was presiding over the Constitution Drafting Committee and presented a first constitution draft on 4 November 1947. It was presented in the Assembly two years after the discussion. Two days later on January 26, 1950, it came into effect. Dr. Ambedkar was honored as the Chief Architect of the Constitution for this contribution. The Indian Constitution defines the rules, procedures, rights and duties of the Indian government and citizens.
Different people celebrate Republic Day in different ways. No parade is seen, any tricolor waving in front of the house. I take the oath of this Republic Day, that I will try to become an ideal Indian citizen, I will not be able to get rid of waste, I will not take any bribe. I am proud of my country, we are not a complete, developed country, but we can make it together.
