The History of Republic Day of India and What it Means to the People of India
The Republic Day of India is an important day in the Indian calendar. It celebrates the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th January, 1950.
The day is celebrated with great pomp and show all over India. The president hoists the National Flag at the Red Fort, New Delhi, at 8:00am on 26th January every year. This ceremony is attended by dignitaries, politicians and citizens.
There are many other events that take place on this day which include parades, military displays and cultural shows by various states.
Chief Guest of Republic Day 2022
Due to Covid-19 situation no foreign dignitaries were invited this time as Chief Guest during the events around 26 January but India was planning to invite the leaders of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan for the Delhi Republic Day parade 2022.
The first day of the Republic Day celebrations was held in Rajpath in the year 1955.
During the Republic Day of India celebration, the President of India is given the salute of 3x artisans.

In which it was announced by Congress that if India had not been given an autonomous status till 26th January 1930, then India would declare itself completely independent, then Congress started its active movement from that day on to achieve complete independence. This is the reason that when our country was liberated, on this day of 26 January the election was elected for the constitution.

For the first time on January 26, 1930, the program of full Swaraj was celebrated. In which, it was decided to get complete independence from the British rule.
During the Republic Day parade, a Christian sound is played, which is named "Abby with Me" because this sound is one of Mahatma Gandhi's favorite sounds.
